The Public Association Infoera is actively participating in the ECOTECH event, contributing to the student mentorship program focused on IT solutions for waste management.
Over a period of four months, Infoera will provide the newly formed teams with guidance, training, and support in applying innovative solutions from the field of information and digital communication technologies.

This initiative aligns perfectly with Infoera’s mission to support civil organizations, the private sector, and public institutions in developing a digital society based on IT innovation.

There is a wide range of digital solutions that can be applied to waste management and the development of effective projects that gradually build a circular economy in the Republic of Moldova. At this stage, we will focus more on the collection and intelligent management of waste-related processes.

• GIS solutions for tracking waste and ensuring effective control over authorized waste accumulation and storage points throughout the country.
• A mobile application for reporting illegal activities, enabling rapid intervention by authorities in cases of unauthorized waste dumping.
• Automation of recycling centers to optimize high costs in the sorting and processing phases by applying AI-based automated sorting lines.
• A marketplace-style platform dedicated to trading reusable waste with high reuse potential, where interested parties can interact, sell, or acquire such types of waste.
